Ad-busting is a form of culture jamming. The intended message of the ad is subverted by an ad-buster, whose own message then takes over.
This is why we need to stop comparing ourselves to images of women in magazines. All images are retouched and reality becomes distorted. It’s not healthy to think we can achieve porcelain-like skin as we age.
